PROPEL (hereinafter "we," "our," or "us") is committed to maintaining your privacy. This Privacy Policy outlines our practices with respect to information collected from users who access our website, or who otherwise share personal information with us. The policy also covers cookies. These policies are intended to protect your privacy and ensure your personal information is handled in a safe and responsible manner. We encourage you to refer to this policy on an ongoing basis to stay current with our privacy practices.
Information We Collect
We collect two types of data and information from users:
Non-personal Information. Un-identified and non-identifiable information made available or gathered via your use of the Site. We are not aware of the identity of a user from whom Non-personal Information is collected. This may include aggregated usage information and technical information transmitted by your device (browser and operating system type, language preference, access time, etc.) to enhance Site functionality. We may also collect information on your activity on the Site (pages viewed, browsing behavior, clicks, actions, etc.).
Personal Information. Individually identifiable information — information that identifies you or could, with reasonable effort, identify you. This includes:
- Device Information: Geolocation data, IP address, unique identifiers (e.g. MAC address, UUID), and other information related to your activity on the Site.
- Registration Information: Full name and email address, provided when signing up for a newsletter.
- Contact Information: Full name, phone number, and email address, provided when filling in the Contact Us form.
- Booking Information: Full name, contact information (including mobile phone number for SMS communications), demographic information, and payment information, provided when making an online booking.
We receive Personal Information from various sources:
- When you voluntarily provide personal details via a form or online booking;
- When you use or access the Site in connection with our services;
- From third-party providers, services, and public registers (e.g. traffic analytics vendors).
Using Information
We use collected data and information to:
- Keep internal records;
- Send notices regarding our services, provide technical information, and respond to customer service issues;
- Periodically send promotional emails or text messages about new products, special offers, or other information we think may interest you;
- Serve advertisements when you use the Site (see "Advertising");
- Market our products (see "Marketing");
- Customize the Site according to your interests;
- Conduct statistical and analytical work to improve the Site.
Advertising
We may use third-party advertising technology to serve advertisements when you access the Site. This technology uses information about your use of our services to serve relevant advertisements, including through third-party cookies placed on your browser.
Marketing
We may use your Personal Information — such as name, email address, or phone number — ourselves or through third-party subcontractors to provide you with promotional materials about our services that we believe may interest you.
We provide a means to decline further marketing offers within such materials. If you unsubscribe, we will remove your email address or phone number from our marketing distribution lists.
Even after unsubscribing from marketing emails, we may still send other important communications — such as customer service announcements or administrative notices — without an opt-out option.
SMS and Text Messaging Policy
We use a guest messaging platform to communicate with you regarding your stay. By providing your phone number during booking, you consent to receive text messages from us.
- Purpose: Text messages may include check-in instructions, access information, room readiness updates, and responses to requests during your stay.
- Opt-Out: Reply STOP to any message to opt out at any time. You'll receive a final confirmation message, after which no further SMS messages will be sent.
- Help: Reply HELP or contact the front desk directly for assistance.
- Privacy of Mobile Data: Mobile information is not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties.
Sharing Information
We do not rent, sell, or share users' information with third parties except as described in this policy. We may share Personal Information in limited circumstances, including:
- Third-Party Service Providers: Shared with parties involved in delivering services to you. These parties may only use the information for its intended purpose and may not disclose it further except at our direction and in accordance with this policy.
- Legal & Regulatory Authorities: Shared when required by law, necessary to exercise legal rights, comply with legal obligations, or address illegal activity or protect the safety of any person.
- Business Transitions: If all or part of our company is sold, merged, or otherwise transferred, personal information may transfer as part of that transition.
Note: Mobile information and SMS opt-in data are excluded from these sharing practices and are never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.
User Rights
You may request to:
- Confirm whether your personal information is being processed, and access your stored personal information along with supplementary details.
- Receive a copy of information you directly provided, in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format.
- Request rectification of inaccurate personal information.
- Request erasure of your personal information.
- Object to our processing of your personal information.
- Request restriction of processing.
- Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
These rights are not absolute and may be subject to our legitimate interests and applicable regulatory requirements.
Retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services and comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our policies. Retention periods account for the type of information collected, its purpose, applicable requirements, and the need to dispose of outdated or unused information in a timely manner. We keep records containing client personal data, account opening documents, communications, and other records as required by applicable law. We may correct, supplement, or remove incomplete or inaccurate information at our discretion.
Security
We take great care in implementing and maintaining the security of the Site and your information, using industry-standard procedures and requiring third parties to meet similar standards. While we take reasonable steps to safeguard information, we cannot be responsible for unauthorized access or misuse by others, and we make no warranty — express, implied, or otherwise — that such access will never occur.
Cookie Statement
What is a cookie? A small piece of information sent to your browser while viewing a website and stored on your device. Cookies help with page navigation, feature activation, remembering preferences, and making your experience faster and easier. They're also used to help ensure relevant advertisements and to compile statistical usage data.
Types of cookies used on the Site:
- Session cookies — stored temporarily during a browsing session and deleted when the browser closes.
- Persistent cookies — saved on your device for a fixed period to support repeat visits (e.g. remembering sign-in preferences).
- Third-party cookies — set by other services running content on the page you're viewing, such as third-party analytics providers.
Cookies don't contain information that personally identifies you, but Personal Information we store may be linked to information obtained from cookies.
We use Google Analytics to understand Site usage — how often users visit, what pages they view, etc. — solely to improve the Site and our services. Google Analytics collects your IP address rather than your name or other identifying information, and we do not combine this data with personally identifiable information. Google's use and sharing of data collected via Google Analytics is governed by the Google Analytics Terms of Use and Google Privacy Policy.
Withdrawal of consent: You can withdraw consent at any time by disabling or removing cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may limit some Site features and your overall experience.
Further Information
We reserve the right to periodically amend or revise this Privacy Policy. Material changes take effect immediately upon posting the revised policy, with the most recent revision reflected in the "Last modified" date. Continued use of the Site following notice of such amendments constitutes acknowledgment and acceptance of the updated terms.
The English language shall be the definitive and controlling text of this Agreement, notwithstanding the translation of this Agreement into any other language.
